Geometry Dash Update 2.2 is the twelfth major update, released on December 20, 2023, for PC, Android, and iOS. The update includes the main Dash level, new camera controls, post-processing effects for levels, and a new swingcopter mode.
Additionally, update 2.2 added platformer levels that allow players to roam freely. Two new shops, numerous new icons, a second set of Power Shards, level lists that players can create and upload alongside levels, and new customization options, such as ship trails and animations for certain forms, were added.

Geometry Dash 2.2074 includes several bug fixes and improvements to enhance the overall gaming experience. Some of the key updates are:
New Event levels.
New achievements.
New settings in Song Trigger.
Bug fixes and optimization.
You can again delete music from internal storage (this feature was removed in 2.206).
New feature in settings - Bad Ending Fix Borderless Fix.
New settings in SFX trigger: Speed, Patch, Volume, Pitch Steps.
In addition to Song Trigger, Don't reset has also been added to the offset settings.

New Features in Geometry Dash 2.2074
New game mode "Swing".
A new level, "Dash," features an original song by MDK. RobTop and MDK called it a "secret song" until they revealed its name.
More secrets, including several secret codes in the vaults .
2 new shops: "Mechanic" and "Diamond Shop", which accepts diamond shards as currency.
A button for multiplayer mode (known as Versus Mode), which allows players to compete to complete a level. However, they cannot see each other. This mode's release has been delayed. RobTop stated that it will likely be released in version 2.21.
Ability to select FPS for Steam (up to 9999 FPS) and fixed mechanics regardless of FPS.
More chests that cost 1 or 5 keys in the Treasure Room.
New types of chests in the Treasure Room costing 10, 25, 50 or 100 keys.
Treasure Room menu redesign.
Free flight mode for limited game modes (Ship, Ball, UFO, Wave, Spider, Swingcopter).
A platformer mode that allows the player to move left and right at will, rather than automatically moving right. There are currently four official levels in platformer mode: "The Tower," "The Sewers," "The Cellar," and "The Secret Hollow."
The Map and Event Levels buttons will work in version 2.21.
Slide down at a certain angle in platformer mode.
New green portal that changes the current gravity.
A new purple orb with a double arrow and a dark purple panel teleport the player to the nearest available platform above/below them (depending on which direction the orb/panel is facing), then switches the player's gravity accordingly. The action is very similar to the gameplay of Spider-Man.
Moons replace stars as the main reward for completing platformer levels.
Lists, which function similarly to Map Packs, are created by anyone. Developer-approved lists appear under the "Lists" button in the network menu and award diamonds for completing a certain number of levels in the list, which varies depending on the list.

How to install Geometry Dash on PC
1. Download the Geometry Dash zip file from the download links above.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a folder on your computer.
3. Open the extracted folder and locate the GeometryDash.exe file.
4. Double-click the GeometryDash.exe file to launch the game.
5. Enjoy playing Geometry Dash on your PC!
Note: The computer may ask for some administrative privileges, accept them if so.
Also, do not move or delete the resources or dll files, or the game will not run at all.
